How We Got Here
Founding Vision
Peachtree Mechanical was founded in 1983 by Charlene and Dickey Denney with a vision to build something meaningful for their family and their future. That vision carried forward through the next generation. Richard, Preston, and Melanie Denney dedicated their careers to growing the company—working in the field, in operations, and in leadership roles—to transform Peachtree into a thriving, high-performing business. What began as a small family operation has grown into a major mechanical contractor, built on decades of sacrifice, leadership, and a shared commitment to doing things the right way.
FEDERAL MARKET ENTRY: PERFORMANCE-DRIVEN GROWTH
With a forward-looking approach, Peachtree Mechanical entered the federal market, where performance, accountability, and execution are critical. While participation in the 8(a) program provided early access to opportunities, the company’s continued success was driven by its ability to deliver high-quality work, maintain strong performance ratings, and consistently exceed client expectations.
